While I was away on vacation, there was a flurry of releases for journals in which I had work appear. I almost don’t know where to start… So much good reading ahead of me! The inaugural issue of Multiverses was released, containing work by a great number of haiku poets who I first met on Facebook. What fun! My two haiku appear on page 13 of the haiku section:
questions
without answers…
pinned butterfly
evening fog
the sound of geese
comes and goes
Nice, Cara. I almost don’t know which one I prefer . . . but I love “evening fog.” Best, M.
Thanks, Margaret. Fog and geese seem so far away now!
I love both.
Thank you, Chrissi.
Both very different — one unsettling, one peaceful — like them both!
That’s funny, Pamela. I hadn’t noticed that until you pointed it out. I submitted 10, I think, and these were the two that editor John Hawk selected from the set. They really do have different tones, don’t they?
