May 4 prompt: weather

We’re all weather watchers here in Portland. In an effort to vary our daily forecast, our local weatherman has come up with all sorts of euphemisms for the word  “rain”: mist, showers, sprinkles, chance of precipitation, low clouds… However, today’s forecast calls for sun. 🙂


and in the dark
the screech of a night heron.
