I agree with Otsenre. The ending couplet is perfect.
I hope you had a wonderful birthday.
And thanks for linking to my blog. 🙂
I did indeed. 🙂 I’m so glad to see you writing haiku!
Fun . . . Happy birthday, Cara!
Thanks, Margaret. It was a lot of fun to create together. I will have to do this more often!
Happy Birthday, Cara! Where am I that I seem so out of tune? But I’m glad I caught up with your fabulous party though I suppose the ribbons have tangled into a slumbering mound. Crumbs will do and faint laughter from departing guests. I imagine a sleepy someone sits on a piano trying a tune in single notes…
on blue notes an elf
…and what a dance. Wishing you your dearest wishes for the rest of the year!
What a lovely image, Alee. And thanks for your birthday wishes! 🙂

Happy Birthday, Cara! Thank you for allowing me to participate. I have reblogged this on my blog.
Thanks for the reblog, Asni. Nice to meet you!
This was a great way to celebrate your birthday, Cara, and a pleasure to be part of. 🙂
Hope you’re having a fun time with all your family around you! Big birthday *hugs*
And I’m so glad you contributed to this renku, Kirsten. It’s been wonderful writing with you this year! My family is spoiling me– I think it might just have been my best birthday ever. 😉
