2012 November PAD Chapbook Challenge- Day 3

I always cringe a little, when I read a prompt that invites me to explore territory that may be uncomfortable. But sometimes the best way through fears is to confront them directly.

Today’s prompt was to “write a poem that scares you”, and the guest prompter was Joshua Gray:

thin mist
counting the hours
until dawn

“Thin mist” is another spring kigo. More poetic responses can be read on the Poetic Asides blog.
