2012 November PAD Chapbook Challenge- Day 15

Today’s  guest prompt by Jared Davidavich is to “Write a tradeoff poem. Could be an exchange, forfeit, or swap.” I interpreted it quite loosely, and took liberties with the kigo as well. I guess I’m more interested in creating a haiku I’m happy with, than adhering strictly to the rules. I just let the prompts guide me. 🙂

“Autumn leaves” is (of course!) an autumn kigo.  I just substituted in a more specific kind of leaf. More poetic responses can be read on the Poetic Asides blog.
