December Haiku Share
I wish I had a solstice haiku to share, but I don’t. Anyway, we can’t have a gathering of haiku poets without paying tribute to Basho’s frog. So share a haiku about frogs. Or crickets. Or both. Or mist. (Or the solstice.) Go wild!

Love this one, Peter, and the haibun–which I had to go back and reread, along with the other 2 in that issue. Lovely . . .

oh, I love that one, kirsten! it’s just about where I am now… except I’m in ohio. 😉
Thanks, Angie. Of course it’s the summer solstice here in NZ.
Happy Summer!
Thank you! 🙂

This is funny! I was thinking of mist all day today, and lo and behold, you have a post about mist (and frogs and other things)! 🙂
I actually did a haiga for “mist.” I’ll post my haiga later, but for now, here’s the ‘ku:
pine mist the enso we hold onto from this year to the next
I’ll be on the lookout for it, Kathy.
