No Regrets

And for this week’s Big Tent prompt, a poem about food:

No Regrets

among her possessions, I discover
a box of recipes never tried-
the “what ifs” of a lifetime

More poetic responses here.

  1. Well done. I imagine looking in a cupboard . . . “oh my, I’m out of regrets. Guess I won’t be able to try this one.” It is interesting what we keep and what others find.

  2. Make them your own Cara. The life of a recipe is never fulfilled unless tasted. If this is a true experience a magnificent gift is in your hands. The succinctness of your three lines shows the depth of your observation which is what all good poets really are, observers.
